Discover the Joy of Storytelling

What Volunteer Storytellers Have to Say:

“Spellbinders gives me the perfect opportunity to combine my love for children and my love of stories. I’m happier because I have a purpose in my life and good friends – all due to Spellbinders.”

— Kathleen Odefey

“What an incredible opportunity this is for me, and I am so grateful for all the “doors” and “windows” this amazing group, Spellbinders, keeps opening for me! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
— Connie Compton

Spellbinders and Storytelling Support Healthy Aging

The Spellbinders organization and local storytelling groups offer and promote activities that play a key role in healthy aging for seniors.  Our storytelling community enhances  the well-being of our volunteers in several areas, including expanding social interaction and personal relationships, community involvement and mental activity, and enhancing a perception of meaningful purpose.
