About Us
Storytelling is a powerful art! Here at Spellbinders Oral Storytellers of Larimer County®, we have over 45 incredible tellers that gladly take their skills to elementary schools, senior homes and community events along the northern Front Range.
The Spellbinders Oral Storytellers of Larimer County® serves school districts in Poudre Valley, Thompson and Weld County and just celebrated our 20th birthday! We look forward, each year, to continuing the legacy of enriching the lives of our listeners.
We love not only stories but also celebrating. Our monthly meetings are
fun-filled events, put on by our creative Program and Celebrations Committees. The meetings give us an opportunity to share
stories and learn new things.
Our tellers are putting some of their stories online. Enjoy these at Mike Forney’s Stories.

Meet Our Trainers
Linda Larkey and Diane Campbell
The friendly and able duo of Linda Larkey, and Diane Campbell offer Spellbinders Storyteller training twice a year. In these 4-session classes, volunteers prepare for the joyful experience of telling stories in elementary classrooms each month of the school year. Those who go on to become Spellbinders Storytellers find a rewarding way to connect children with oral traditions such as fables and folktales, and to boost literacy in the process! Contact us to learn about joining the fun!
